Lightbulb Driver's Side Window not rolling up

i've been having this problem for a while now. my window tends to not go up once in a while and stays like that for a couple of hours.
>i hear people say to use silicone spray, wd-40, some other types of spray, other people say its the motor, then other people say its off track, some others say its the weather strip...
so really which one is it?
and how do i fix this problem? anyone..thanx

When the problem window works, does it operate smoothly? If so, you may have a faulty switch or motor.

Try this first:

Roll the window all the way down, and then spray some silicone lubricant into the rubber channels where the glass window edges sit. Roll the window up and down a few times to see whether the window movement speeds up and becomes smoother.

Pull the door panel off and try adjusting the window alignment in the channel. Also check whether the window has come out of its tracks.
