Default Dynamic damper on axle necessary?

I'm replacing the right axle on a 1990 Civic 5 speed. I picked up a new axle at the local part store but noticed my old axle has a dynamic damper on it (I think that's what its called) and the new one doesn't. I've searched and haven't found a definite answer on whether or not I need to remove the old damper and put it on the new axle. I've heard it's a pain to do, but have also heard most new axles don't come with dampers and are ok as is. Is it ok to install the new axle without the damper? Or should I shop around and find an axle that comes with one?

Go ahead and install the reman'd axle, you won't feel any vibrations.
