Default E-brake light

OK, so it's the first time I have driven the car (98 2 dr) when it was cold, like 9 or so this morning. I took the E-brake off and the light stayed on. After a minute it went off... is the switch just sticky from being so darn cold? The E-brake was definitely off when I drove it and everything acted normal.
Thanks guys

Sounds like just a sticky switch. You could spray a bit of WD40 on it or something.
