E-BRAKE light

my e-brake light won't go off? anyone have any suggestions. my e brake is not in. it does it even when i turn the car to accessories. it still comes on. i don'tknow what it is. i remember there was someone on here a few months ago with this same prob. but i dont remember how they got it to go away.

this could be why my clutch slips a little bit too then couldn't it? b/c thre clutch master cylinder works off of te same fluid as the brake master cylinder doesnt it?

no. the same kind of fluid, but not the same resevoir. if the clutch is slipping, its wearing out.

well, the clutcj only slips every once in a while. and lets see. see here. ummm.... oh yeah. i looked at the cylinders and it looks as if the clutch cylinder pulls the fluid out tof the brake fluid resevoir. it appears that way too me. anywho.
the brake fluid level looks ok too me. but i think i might just top it off and see what that does. im not sure yet.

It may also be your ebrake sensor. I had that problem. It went away eventually.

where is that sensor located? where can i unplug it at?

do your brakes pulse or go clear to the floor after pushing it for a little while at constant presure then you have to pump them for them to work, or you brakes maybe need bleeded or if you pulled your e-brake and it was cold and the sensor or part of the cable froze stuck a little bit to were you can't notice it but its still stuck

r u sure your checking the right resevoir? you brake fluid should not be changing when depressing the clutch pedal. double check your owners guide to be certain you are looking at the proper thing. you put the wrong fluid in the wring spot, your cars not gonna like it
