Default ebrake light

allright guys i have not something that is really puzzling me. i am thinking about driving down to colorado springs for my first autocross meet. however i noticed on my way to work that if i take a corner too fast my brake light comes on for about 5 seconds. i was thinking maybe my brake fluid was low but thats not the case. it shouldnt be a short because the connecter is right next to the ebrake and that shouldnt short out if i was turning. any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Double check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If fine, then troubleshoot the brake fluid level switch:

If you're sure the fluid is not low you could temporarily disconnect the switch at the reservoir and see if the light still comes on when it's not supposed to.
