Ok i did the trick to the ecu to tell it that the crank sensor is hooked up. well anyway its an obd1 motor in a obd2 car so i had to do the trick to the ecu. so the check engine light went off then i started it and it came back on. i tryed to do the jumper thing in the little green plug to see if i could get a code but the the light never blinked. am i doing something wrong or maybe my wires disconnected on the ecu, im just lost lol

im not sure why, but prob cause the sensor is bypassed, have you tried unpluging the ecu for a min then plug it back up to reset the ecu and try it again

i think i know what i did wrong. i connected the wires that run to that ckf sensor instead of the wires on the ecu. so if i understand right i gotta hook up the wires comin from the plug not the ones that go underneath the hood. Am i right?

so i went to autozone to see what the check engine light was about, and they told me that the cam fluctuation sensor is not getting any signal. was that because of the ecu trick?
