here are the 2 wires you should have ran to the ecu
a4 (vtec solnoid) and d6 (vtec oil pressure sensor)

now you should also have the black wire from the oil pressure sensor grounded

i can barely understand wat this dood is trying to ask half the time because his sentence structure, grammer, and spelling is horrid.

we found it and you guys are far off the y8 obd2 head that is on it now the timing is set for 12 degrees and teh p28 ecu is mint to run a head that is time at 16 so that is 4 off and that is what the problem is because no matter what base map with the timing being that far out it will go in to a safe mode. running supper rice and only reving to 3 grand in order not the mess up the head i have to swap cam gears and retime it with a z6 gear and belt to get the ecu out of safe mode. i found the answer on a other forum im on. thanks guy i will post that page to so you guys can see thanks for the help tho

ummmm you can just jump the service connector and get a timing light, and time the ignition timing, also what timing belt are you using
and post the the link you found this on....

you shouldnt have a prob, just get a timing light and jump the cel service plug and start the car and time it by moving the dizzy, i havent heard anything about the stuff you just posted, what about all these people who have a 96-00 d16y8 and used a conversion harness to run a p28 ecu???????

so i did some more reading and found that the z6 and b7 use the same cam gear. the y8 on the other had is some other size so the b7 i have will fit and run i just need a z6 timing belt. the z6 cam gear and the b7 are both 4.3" and all i need is the z6 belt it is one tooth larger then the b7. http://www.hondahookup.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=151390 this guy was having the same issue and the cam gear fixed it so im gonna by a belt and try that out 1st.
