Default -electrical- serious stupid issue

I got replacement bulbs for my brake/outer running lights (stock-7443, a dual filament). These new bulbs are a 9 LED configuration, I put them in, now only the brake lights work. No running lights (from the LED, or from the stock incandescant in the trunk assemblies), and no plate light. I have not yet checked directionals or reverse but I am doubtful that they will work. I don't do much electrical work so I am unsure where to begin. I'm thinking maybe fuse, load equalizer needed, wiring change? Please HELP me. Also when I turn on my running lights with my key out of the ignition, the little warning beep no longer goes on. And for clarification when I say I turn my running lights on I mean when I put the light **** all the way on (to where my headlights go on, and my rear running lights should go on). Again please Help!!!!

look at fuse first. the brake lights may be on one fuse, and the other on a different fuse.
Civic i guess (??); what year ??
on my year there is a explanation of what fuse goes where on the back of the door tray where the fuse box is.
