Default Engine code P1457

Hi,
I have a 2002 Civic with a 1.7L engine & standard transmission. I recently had an engine code P1298 and replaced the electrical load detector located in the fuse box. The code cleared but after a couple weeks I now have a code P1457. I searched and found the code is related to the EVAP system. My question is: is there something in the EVAP system that usually fails or that has a history of being the weak link? I see where there is a smoke test for diagnosing the problem but can anyone give me a suggestion on where to look first?
I appreciate any help you can give me with this.
Thanks,
Les

Funny thing happened on the way to the parts house the other day. I was on my way home from work and planned to stop by the parts house to pick up a new gas cap when the check engine light went out. I went ahead and picked up a new gas cap and for the last few days the light has not come back on. I expect it will come back on and will still have to address the EVAP system but in the mean time I'm making my 122 mile daily commute to work & back.

Default P1457

The engine light came back on and I get the P1457 again. I guess I will need to start replacing the EVAP parts.
