Good idea. Save money by doing a Seafoam treatment yourself. Split the container ($8) equally into the gas tank, brake booster vacuum line, and crankcase. Replace engine oil about 200 mi later.

I saw Seafoam at both NAPA and O'Reilly in my area. Search the forum for members' experiences using the product. I've read nothing but positive reviews. I also treated my Civic and found that it worked fine without any problems.

If you add to the crankcase (the oil) I would change the oil after your "spirited drive".

I ruined an engine once using an engine flush in a can. I would not personally do it again. I know a mechanic at a gas station that sells the seafoam stuff and he says he would never use it. So thats two NO votes.

Unless there is a really good reason to do so I would not.
