hey guys i got a 96 civic recently and i was giving it a deep clean and noticed my engine bay was extreamly dirty so i power washed it, after i was done i started it up and the check engine light came on and it was bogging really bad, after driving it for a while it stopped bogging and puttering and the perfromance seems normal but the check engine light is still on im taking it to the shop soon but if you guys have any ideas please let me know

ok sorry i made a post like this a couple weeks ago and i forgot i skipped a couple of pages and found it someone left me a really long post explaining it and i fixed the problem by unplugging the battery for a while but thanks for checking the post
