The engine light comes on after 5-10 min. of driving. while driving I shut off the ign. and back on bump the clutch and the light never comes back on untill after the car cools off and I drive it again.

any ideas?

 

well we need info on your car and everything.

 

Go to Autozone and have them pull the code.

 

its a 94 civic LX4door with aJDM D15B non vtec 5 speed

Can they pull the code even if the light is off?

 

they should be able to pull the last code it sent

althoguh if it only turns on whiel youre driving thats a no-go, and then you should just go to AutoZone

Well I took it to Auto zone and they told me that they only did 96 and newer and he said to put a paperclip in the little plug like mentioned above. I did that and got the SRS light to flash constantly and the CEL didnt flash. It was just on. I dont think it worked like FlipHKD said. So aside of taking it to Honda dealer who else would check this out?
