Just aquired a 1.4 ls Honda Civic 46K on the clock. Did a complete service and took it on a 300 mile drive. I found the petrol consumption to be pretty good but was very disappointed with the top speed. According to the manual I should get 110 mph but the car won't go beyond 99 mph. The engine seems to be running fine, nice and smooth. Does anybody know why I can't get 110 mph ? Could it be due to the fact that the previos owner was an elderly gentleman ??
