1994 Civic VX, 200000 plus miles. Boosted.

D15Z1 was smoking pretty bad, got tired of running on 3 cylinders, so I swapped in a D15B7.

All went well, swap was relatively easy, nothing much to really pay attention too....other than the distributors....

The D15Z1 dist. wouldnt bolt up to the D15B7 head...(the way it was supposed too.)

So since I didnt have a B7 dist. I put the Z1 dist on, upside down...

Cannot get the timing right...which of course cause no start conditions.

So tell me, a VTEC dist. cannot go on a NON vtec head?

Wish I woulda thought about that sooner....everyone told me a D15 is a D15....

So I shot myself in the foot....long walk to work on monday...

Anyone got a B7 dist they want to hook me up with?
