Anyone know about how much does it cost for a tuneup? What exactly do they do when you get one? Fill me in.

 

A run-of-the-mill"tune up" is checking/changing the oil, spark plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap and rotor, setting the timing, and general routine maintenance like that. "Tuning" the car involveschanging fuel and ignition maps according to what your A/F ratio is/or should be by electronically altering the preset "look-up" tables in your ECU.

Just buy the parts that steet sniper saidand do it yourself. Thats the cheapest way out of it.
