Ok guys so i was stupid enough to buy an ebay intake manifold (branded OBX). I spent the afternoon today putting it on, we got it on with a little custom modification to the vacuum hoses and some other lines. When we went to turn on the car it turned on. But then the tach jumped to 2k rpm and revved to 4k rpm back and forth.

I'm stumped, i've been told it could be a vacuum leak, egr valve leak, something with the egr solenoid valve, and also a fuel line.

For the fuel line we had to run it around the bottom of the throttle body. It ended up being pinched against the throttle body. Could this cause the erratic idling? Because of fuel pressure?

Any help would be great guys. thanks..
