Default Error code P1035

I recently went to an auto parts store and had them hook up the computer and I got code P1035. It tells me that their is problem with the O2 sensor but y vehicle has two. What is the best way to find out which one need replacing or should I just replace both since it is an older vehicle and I do not know if they have been replaced at all?
