Default feul pump problem?

hey i hope anyone out there could help me out. i have a 94 honda civic ex v-tech and i was putting a kill switch with the feul pump. the car was running perfectly nothing wrong till i cut only 1 wire which is the yellow and green stripes which is the power wire for the pump i connected the wires correctly done this a million of time but this time i connected everything correct and the car will not start. i check all wires made sure there not touching any metal and there connected properly. i was wondering if the fuel pump got fried or the line. i used the wired tester the fuel pump had current except the wire which is kinda strange. if any one knows any tricks or hints i would apprechiate it

I wasn't sure what you were saying in the sentence above. Does the YEL/GRN wire have battery voltage at the fuel pump when the ignition key is turned to ON?

Have you checked the fuse? Check for voltage at the black/yellow wire on the main relay.

With the relay in place, the power is will not be on constantly with the key on but the engine not running. It comes on for 2 seconds then goes off. While you crank the engine it should stay on.
