Default Front end noise

I have an '05 Civic EX Coupe special edition. Just turned 100,000 miles. Have recently developed a front end rattle when going over bumpy roads. I've checked everything in front end and all seems tight with no visible looseness or problems. Any suggestions as to what to look for would be helpful before I seek professional help and pay dealer prices. Thanks!

hey, i have a 2005 lx SE with the same sort of problem. i get a sort of pulsating sound starting around 50mph and it's on and off sometimes, weird. my foot and steering wheel will also vibrate slightly.

Just wondering, have you had any luck finding out what it is? My dealer told me I need to change my sway bar links because they cause vibration at high speeds. Don't know yet if that would do it though.

I changed the right front sway bar link today and the problem is solved. Very easy job. Took 50 minutes along with cleanup. The part cost $41.99 at Advance Auto parts and was a Moog part - top quality. For more details on this job, check out my reply in "2006 Civic front end rattle/clank" that was posted today, also. Good luck!
