does anyone know where can i get a front impact sensor?
also, i got into an accident and my airbag deployed. along with that my seatbelts wont retract. i bought new seatbelts but they do not come with the buckles. do i need to replace the buckles? if so why?

First make sure it is legal in your state to use a car with the air bags removed. Usually after the air bags go off in a crash it is so expensive to replace all the parts that the car is a total loss. Most states that do safety inspections will not pass the car if it was a model that originally had air bags but they were not replaced after a crash.

If legal in your state, and you're willing to drive without them, in that case you don't need the impact sensor either, just get the seat belts working.

 

well i would get the latches as well for the belts because if it was in a wreck the parts could be weakened or bent even tho they look fine now they might not hold up in another accident so id go ahead and swap them out if you oreally want to be safe!

you can typicaly just follow the yellow jacketed wires to the sensors from the main control which youd also want to replace the air bag computer. replacing all the parts with good ones is the only way to be truely safe for the next wreck!

ebay probably cheapest place to buy airbag parts from...

 

yeah ive been looking on ebay. i got both front seatbelts for 125 american dollars including shipping. do u guys think thats a good deal? ive been looking all through ebay but i cant find any impact sensors. anyone know how much they usually go for?
