front left speaker rumbling after service

front left speaker rumbling after service
After minor and fuel induction service, front left speaker of civic 02 rumbling at certain frequencies. Was fine before the service. Technician told me my sony after-market cd player's equalization needs adjustment. I don't believe since was just fine.
Any clue how the technician could mess up the speaker/or wires/cd player?

Take the cover for the speaker out. Look at the cone and check if it is torn anywhere. Its made out of paper and it doesn't take much to rip. The one in my 94 went out a couple years ago by it self.
