Default front right cv axel problems

I have a 1991 honda civic dx hatchback. i replaced the thr front left side cv axel and all went smoothly. however when i went to change the right side i hit a kinck. the cv axel that is in it now must be the wrong one, because when i went to put the new one in in didnt fit. i than tried three other cv axels. non of them fit, i went to three stores and they didnt know what to tell me. anybody know what might be going on? im thinking that maybe the previouse own wrecked it on that side and maybe put a new hub kit on it, but i dont know

Did you count the threads on each end of the old and new, also, you should take a measurement of each axle, again, the old vs new.

You need to rotate the gears. Put the tire back on the side you completed keep it jacked up turn on the car put it in gear to make it turn. Turn off the car then try putting the axel in the other side.

My guess is that the new axles you are trying to install have the tone ring on the outer section for ABS. You will need to knock that ring off if that is the case. (if you don't have ABS. DX usually won't)
This is only a guess since you didn't specify if it is the inner or outer section that you are having the fitment issues with.
