Default front suspension bushing..?

I have a 93 civic EX with about 145k. The front tires wear really bad on the inside. When I took it to get aligned, they said (and showed me) I have a worn out suspension bushing. It's hard to describe which bushing it is. If you jack the car up and push/pull the tire from the outside of the vehicle, the tire will move in and out. I believe there is only one of this kind of bushing on each side of the front of the car.

I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but since it has to be pressed in/out, i'm going to have a shop do it and align it. How much around would it cost (parts & labor) to have the bushing replaced? I don't want to get screwed on this. I don't think this is a simple DIY job. I could be wrong.

Also, should I have the bushing on the other side replaced?

Where on the suspension is the bushing located?

Like I say it's hard to describe. I would say it's closer to the center of the car than any of the others. I might have to take a pic.

If the other side is fine, there's no real need for it to get replaced. Would you feel comfortable doing a job like this yourself? Can you take apart the front suspension of your car? If not I suggest taking it to someone that knows what they're doing. If you end up trying to do something like this by yourself, you will cause bigger problems and it will cost more money to get it fixed properly in the end.

the part has been identified as the lower control arm bushing. It's bad on the passenger side. I have an appointment at 3 today to find out how much it will cost.

Does this bushing require extensive labor to replace or is it fairly simple?

You need a bushing press.

Which LCA bushing is it? The one at the bottom of the shock fork, or the one where the LCA attaches to the subframe?

I'm having a shop do it and they say it will be no labor charge if they just have to unbolt and press it out. It's on the bottom of the car towards the middle. I'll get a pic up shortly.

so can this just be replaced by just unbolting it, and pulling it down enough to get the press on it or will other things have to be dissassembled?
