Fuel Injectors

Fuel Injectors
took in my 1988 Honda Civic LX, its a DD because I also own a V-8 truck.
The techs at the Honda dealership scanned it and pulled a dirty injector code, and they either said injectors need to be cleaned by pouring injector cleaner into the tank, or replaced. I had dumped fuel injector cleaner (Valvoline) into the gas tank.
So it sounds like I have bad injectors.
On the paper record it stated, "L 2-O P Injectors, L 1.0"
Guy said there were two injectors on the engine, and cost $132 each.
I searched Car-Part.com, and it came up with two different injectors, main and auxillary.
Anybody here have some stock ones on hand, I dont want to spend too much because this is a temporary car.
1.5L with auto, 237K.
What years and models/engines of other Civics have compatiable fuel injectors?

RE: Fuel Injectors
Take them off and get them cleaned and balanced:

If your injectors really are bad then the cleaning and balancing will not work, but any shop that does this will be able to tell you for sure. I would not take their word for it if that the injectors are no good unless they took them all out and flow tested them(as well as other tests). Oh and injector cleaners in the tank don't work all that great. Read the thread I have posted and you will see what works better.
To get all 4 cleaned and balanced it should cost about 70-100 bucks
