Default Fuel Pressure Regulator - Amateur Question

I have a 1986 Civic Wagon (1.3L) and have done some diagnosis of an issue that I have been experiencing. I believe that my fuel pressure regulator needs replacement, so I purchased a new (after market) one. I realized going into this replacement that I will most likely need to purchase some additional fittings and so forth to get this thing to work, but this is not my problem. Although I have both a Haynes and Chiltons manual for the correct years, I can't figure out where the hell my FPR is located! I believe most of the exploded views / diagrams that I have seen are for fuel injected models, but my vehicle is not. Can anyone give me a good description of where exactly this thing is located. Of course, a photo would be even better, but I'll take what I can get.

The carburetor (non fuel injected) system does not have a fuel pressure regulator.

I would suggest you find a factory service manual. The third party manuals for those years cover so many different models that they are likely to have no detail about your model and thus are practically useless.

I guess that explains why I was having so much trouble finding it! Thank you for your quick response. You saved me much confusion. The factory service manual will be a near-future purchase. Thanks again.
