i bought a 94 cx hatchback and it has a rusted gas tank. a guy at the parts store says that a 94 sedan tank will fit. is this true or is this guy just trying to make a sale?

 

that's a great question. i was able to find out by plugging in the 2 different types of cars at a dealership and at rockauto.

according to the dealership, the part #s are different ever so slightly between the cx and say an lx sedan.

but according to rockauto, the part #s are the same.

so i guess the parts guy on the phone was not trying to pull one over you.
