gas milage???

Also, as forementioned, alot of your MPG depends on your own driving prefs. If you pretend your in the Daytona 500 driving around the city, yeah your mileage is gonna suck.
Most of your fuel is spent from 0-30 Mph. It doesn't take much fuel to maintain your speed, it's all in how you take off. In my old V8 F150, I could squeeze another 70 miles from a tank of fuel just babying it when the light turned green.

RE: gas milage???
well your city driving is going to get worse if you make a lot of short trips in which the engine doesn't warm up yet, because the engine doesn't sense the right fuel mixture to send until it's warm, so it overcompensates and richen's the mixture, therefore wastes more gas...
so really i could expect the lower 30's in town, i would check the highway mileage, that's usually either because A: you're driving too fast... (wind resistance goes up almost exponentially once you're over 50 mph...) or B: You need to get a tune up with new plugs/wires and maybe a distributor cap... those three and your fuel filter are the main components that affect fuel mileage
and make sure you keep your tires inflated

RE: gas milage???
ok, im not driving very fast on highway, i was just asking because on half a tank ive gotten 240km or so. I know the tank in the canadian cx is 45litres, 11us gallons, Mabey it needs a tune but i have no money right now for that im going to replace the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and see wat happens! thanks for the help

ha if you really want to do something neat, then lay out a course where fill up at a gas station, go up 10 miles, then come back and check your mileage, and do that maybe two or three times, then change the filters and plugs, it's interesting to see how much it really does
but if you do that you have to make all the other conditions besides the plugs and filters the same
that's what i plan on doing when i get a short ram intake
