Yes... I know that a short ram or CAI intake will improve fuel mileage... I've heard that headers/exhaust can do that as well... just be aware though as you have more power (which these items will add...) you're more likely to dip your foot into the peddle a bit more which means you'll lower your fuel mileage via your driving style change...

making the engine more efficient will give more mpg, so clean filters, oil, good state of tune will all help. get a higher power ignition box from msd too, they make a larger, powerful spark to run more effieciently. also look into a grounding kit. and lose dead weight.

its all about engine efficiency i am now in the process of trying to reach the 50 mpg mark in my 88 civic dx i plan on getting a CAI a high flow cat, aftermarket exhaust k+n air filter clean oil and oil filter just go with that and dont stomp on ur gas pedal and ur gas mileage will go through the roof
