Default Gas Mileage issue

I got my 2003 coupe EX in Dec. 06in Minneapolis from a dealer. The car looks great and has been maintained pretty well. It has about 102,000 miles on it. The only problem with it is that it averages only about 25-27 miles per gallon in the city. I got the oil changed inApril before I moved from MN to VA. I use the car mainly to go to officefor which I drive 11 miles on the freeway. Besides that, I generally avoid very high traffic hours. Does anybody have an idea why the mileage is so low. I'm not a rash/speedy driver and would love to get mileage above 30. I keep the pressure in my tires at about 32 psi (it says 36 on the tires). Do you think changing the spark plugs will help? What else could be the reason?? I know a change of the timing belt is due, but I'm procastinating it for the moment because of $$$$.

Please let me know what other factors can be involvedfor having low gas mileage.

I'd say O2 sensor too. My car did the same thing and that was the fix.

check the tread depth on your tires. if theyre below 4/32 or are uneven a new set could help. tread guage is only like $5. also make sure tires are balanced.

^ i agree driving habit is also a killer. but i think u need to pour some fuel/injector cleaner in the car before and after u fill up. it worked for my car. also an intake system would really help too.
