Gauge swap: fuel and temp gauge stopped working

Sound like th temp gauge is fine but there is short in the circuit.

Here how to test both gauges:

alright i'll try that tomorrow. hopefully it works, im gonna be pretty ticked if i hav to replace something when the cluster was "tested before shipping" guess thats what i get for buying something off ebay. thanks again.

well i checked the coolant and the temp sending unit and they checked out so it muct be the gauge. same goes for the fuel i suppose, since the two gauges are one piece in the cluster i haave to replace them both. thanks for all the help.
