The godly beast mobile won't start.
I'm going to try to adjust the timing a little at the distributor first, if that doesnt work, i'm going to double check my dynamic timing that I did before I put the motor in. Good place to start I suppose. Also going to double check gap on plugs, they still have original plugs or the engine place put new ones in, im not sure.
Okay, got the car running, turns out something got screwy and was way out of whack with the timing. So I take it around the block twice. Half way through my second time, the thing just putts and dies from a stop sign going into first gear. --- I'm assuming maybe I didn't tighten the tensioner pully enough and maybe it bumped a tooth or two. Going to re-check timing for the third time. ---- Anyone know why I would still be blowing white smoke with the new motor? I figured it was old oil burning off the intake/exhaust from the old motors head gasket and blown ring issues, but it never really smoked less and less, stayed consistent while driving too.
