I AM SO DAMN PISSED!!!!!!! ........Ever bloody time i work on my car the freck bolts brake!!!!!
i was just worken on take out the back shock... guess what first i brake one of my a socket(don't care they will replace it)... then i grab another socket and spray it some more with some WD-40 crap... then boom... bolt end ripps right off......... so now i go to try to drill it out err somthing then find another freck bolt....... AHHHHHHHHH makes me so mad because evey time i do anthing to my damn car a loose a bolt........

 

Get an impact wrench.

 

yeah............ but they still don't work in most place... u can't get in righ in the wheel well ... well not on all the bolts.......

 

i am so mad i might just buy one.... I would like electric though... i don't have a air commpresser.........and i don't know if i am pissed enough to buy one too

 

Also i am calling aroun the auto wreckers for bolts... i am havein one heck of a time finding ones that even have civic from 95-95.....

 

maybe if you asked for a 92-95 it would open up the possibilities a little.

I just saw an electric impact at AutoZone for ~ 60 bucks. Of course there is so much other stuff you can do with an air compressor for just about $20 more. They have a kit with a drill and all kind of other crap that I may be forced to buy if the dang crank bolt is a stubborn as I have read. I need to change my timing belt and I'll bet an impact would make life a lot easier.

 

i bet it would....
