Default head unit install

i have a 05 civic lx special edition. it has the 6 cd changer in dash but i have a system that i want to replace it with.im having trouble finding how to get my dash apart and the cd changer out. ive found info for other models but not mine. can anyone help?

Try http://www.crutchfield.com/ they might have the info how to remove your stereo. Good luck buddy [&:]

Yeah, Crutchfield makes master sheets for almost all makes and model cars. They send them with any order you make with them but I believe that you can get them separately also. These will tell you exactly how to get the dash apart adn then back together, good luck!

i just changed mine out in my 01 civic today. its easy once you do it. down where the cigarrette lighter plug is , pop that whole panel out , it just clips in. underneath theres two phillips head bolts. pull those out and the whole center dash console will pull straight out. pull it out as far as you can and unplug all the plug in harness clips and your ready to go.
