Default Headlight Lenses Repair Question

My headlight lenses on my wife’s 99 Altima are real dull & cloudy. I thought about replacing them but now I see that there are some restoration kits available. Has anybody tried anything like this? Does it really work? Here’s a couple I was looking at:

Thanks

pretty much any kit will work if you use the right sandpaper grits and work your way up to polish.

Yup. Most of the restoration kits work pretty well. Just apply paste to a buffer wheel on your drill and buff away. Don't expect the results to last longer than a few months, but just do it every few washes and they'll stay nice and clear.

Pics of the oxidation?

I swear by this stuff called Meguiar's PlastX. You hand polish it onto the lights, then wipe away. Clears them up if the oxidation isn't bad.

If it's bad, THEN you sand.
