headlight switch
I'm still looking for help with the headlight switch. Does anyone know if you have to replace both sides? Or can you just replace the headlight switch and not the wiper? If so, do you have to remove steering wheel or can you get to it easily? thanks for the help
Removing the wheel makes it easier. After that, remove top plastic cover from steering column, there is a black box where the arms are attached. Remove the cover of the black box (caution: springs) and i think for some the arm is attached with a bolt and some a pin with a snap ring holding it in place. Remove that pin/bolt, you should now be able to slightly remove the arm because of the wires going to it. Some year civics have direct wiring and some have a plastic connector. Either way, it needs to come out and be replaced. Replace the same way it came out and test.
