Default Headlight switches when VTEC hits

Hello everyone. My first post here. I'm glad to be in the Honda camp again, since about 2002 when I sold my CRX.

I just bought a 2000 Civic Si w/ 90k. I just found out last night the right highbeam turns on and off when the vtec hits. These lights might be aftermarket, I can't be sure. I know there is no adjustment for headlight angle, and the orange market inside the light is clear. That is the best I can explain it. Any ideas? Happen to anyone before? Thanks!

does it have a vtec controler? you should check around the vtec solenoid for any stray wires
that someone else has put there. good luck and let us know if you get the fix.
