Default headlights sweat inside

Hello,my name is anthony.it seams that there is some moisture on the inside of my headlights.my headlights are "sweating" from the inside and that makes them look very dull and not clear.but the headlight component looks so complicated to open.can anyone tell me how to get the whole headlight component lose from the car and how i should take of the lens to clean the inside and maybe cilicone and glue the lens back on?...please help me out here.my car is a honda civic'98
ps.: dont mind my (bad)english,we speak dutch in my country.

your headlights are probably poorly sealed. are they aftermarket? you can wait for them to dry out and then get some clear silicone and seal around the headlights. or to separate them apart bake it in the oven and the lens and the rest of the headlights should separate clean it up and reseal with clear silicone

hmmm...oke,thanx for the info.i'll try it.but the challange is to remove the whole headlight from the carr and even more challanging is to sepparate the lenz(the glass) from the headlight-housing to get on the inside of the glass.but i'll try it today,hope i dont have to take off the whole bumper.i'll let u know how it goes.thanx.

Ya i have the same problem on my 02 civic the water is all yellow now and yes u have to remove the bumper then take away all the lights and just pull a little and it should just come out

If the reflective coating in the back has degraded, don't bother trying to reseal. You will need to replace the lights to make them shine bright again. Most of the light from the bulb hits the coating first then gets reflected out the front.
