Heater hose inlet?
On a 93 Civic ex coupe which hose is the one that is the inlet hose? Is it the one that goes after the thermostat housing or the one that goes into the middle of the engine block?
if its the kit with the garden hose fitting it still doesnt matter to much... your forcing water thru the motor... just keep flushing till its all clear. i never use any flush stuff tho... i just rinse completly.... no sense breaking any large dirt loose that might be cloging a small leak.
first car i flushed with that stuff got the radiator and heater core leaking and i had to replace them both... and in a corvette the heater core is a HUGE PITA TO CHANGE! after that ive stuck with a plain garden hose....

I agree it doesn't matter too much. Normally, coolant leaves the fititng on the head, goes thru the heater core, then back to the thermostat housing. So the line from the head to the heater is what they'd call the "inlet" hose.
