Question Heater core inlet hose?

Ok; 91 Civic 1.5 Which hose do I need to cut to install the " T " for the cooling system flush kit. I know is the inlet but which one it's, the one coming from the head or the one from the thermostat housing? I belive the one from the thermostat housing but just want to make sure. Thanks

Coolant flows out of the head, into the heater, and back to the thermostat housing. So the one from the head is the inlet hose.

You really don't need that flush kit, just disconnect the hoses and flush manually by holding a garden hose up to the hose ends.
