Exclamation Heater Problem - 2000 Civic LX

Hello Everyone!
I have a weird problem. It's weird because everything I can think of works, and I must be missing SOMETHING. It's winter, and my heater doesn't work.

AC works fine, blows out of all the vents, heater blows cold air out of all the vents. So I'm assuming the blower motor is fine since it is blowing air. The heater core isn't clogged, I made sure to unclog with a pressure washer. The **** correctly changes to window defrost, feet and window defrost, etc., 1-4 work. The lights come on, the rear window defrost works (slowly, but it works). The thermostat is good, cooling fan seems to come on regularly (haven't checked in a week or so, but I'm sure it still works). One time on an incline it blew out slight warm air as I removed all the air bubbles from the system. The fuses seem OK, I'm going to check them again though.

Now for what doesn't work. The hot to cold cable on the heater core valve doesn't move when I turn the Hot/Cold ****. I move it to open manually by hand. Still, no heat.

I'm going to check the back "door" of the heater control unit in the dash, because I heard it might be physically unable to open. I also looked up some kind of module that people were welding a 1 ohm resistor to as a mod, but I think it was AC, so I don't know if that's the problem. Does anyone know what else could be wrong?? Both heater core hoses are hot. What happens to the heat after going through the heater core?

HELP!!! Thank you

OK. More online research has told me it might be my "air blend door", or "vent air door actuator". Also my coolant and reservoir are completely full.

There is a mechanism on the bottom of the heater box in the center of the car that controls the door and the valve. You can see it if you put your head near the gas pedal. A cable from the hot/cold lever goes down to the mechanism, then another cable comes out of the mechanism to the valve under the hood. There is a push-rod going to the right side of the car that moves the door. It's purely mechanical, nothing electric. If nothing at all (including the input cable) moves when you move the dash lever, the problem is at the control panel.

Ahhhh. Thank you mk378! It's a 2 piece cable, so when I move the 2nd piece, I'm not even moving the 1st piece connected to the mechanism. I will look into it tomorrow. So there is no electric actuator at all that moves the door, just a push rod. Correct? Thank you!
