Red face help again

I still have power loss and am currently trying to figure out why i have tested my o2 sensor and found it only reading .06 volts at the sensor while vehicle is running at operating temperature. I disconnected it and it still drives the same. I have a new fuel filter to put on it which i will do as soon as i get the chance, but should i also check my pump and pump screen and my regulator; or are there other things i should check also. i have had code 43 come on once or twice again reccently.

oi bought the car like this and its obd1. I checked my fuel pressure and volume flow yesterday and it is fine. I'm guessing its just the o2 sensor but I'm not sure? also another issue im having is my vtec is kicking in at 5 grand and its not mapped for that and i thought it might have been the previous owner had messed with the ecu so i replaced it but it did not change the vtec??

have you tryed to inspect your conversion's wiring? you have a 4wire o2 sensor right?
have you checked the timing? have you pulled the distributor cap off and inspect it?
have you pulled the spark plugs and checked them?
what ecu's do you have?

Your car would run fine with or without the 02 sensor. It may just make you run rich/lean. But your car can and will run smooth without it.

*edit* Does it smoke everytime you drive the car?

I have checked the timing and it is fine i did a tune-up like a month ago i just went ahead and put a new o2 sensor in it anyways cause it was bad and yes it was 4-wire. after 5 grand or so it pretty much wont go anywhere.

Just throwing this out there but double check ALL of your grounds. I had a real issue with idling and accelerating when I did my swap all due to 1 ground not having a good connections.
