Help after MPFI swap!!!!!
Hey guys,
I just did the mpfi swap to my 89 DX
d16a6 dizzy, intake mani, ecu, inj resistor
I've checked for spark on every plug by pulling it out, grounding it, and having someone start the car. Sparks were seen on every single plug.
I checked for fuel at the fuel line going to the rail. I accidently forgot the 12mm bolt on top, and it sprayed fuel. I hear the fuel pump prime as well.
The car does crank, so the starter is good.
Next I'm to check the injectors to make sure they're actually working...
I thought I got the two white wires on the dizzy mixed up, but switched em around and didn't see a difference. It was sparking before I switched them.
Other than that, maybe my injector resistor box? Does it matter if I used one from a Prelude???
I also had a white/red stripe wire in b12 on the ecu, had to remove it for the swap. what was it for?
I'm running out of ideas here...
