help clicking sound when I turn my steering wheel left and right
help, I have a 2005 honda civic coupe, the hazard light and turning signal lights went dead, in my attempt to put in a new switch in the fuse box on the drivers side under the dashboard I could not get the original out so I put everything back together, know I get a clicking sound when I turn my steering wheel all around to the left and right. Please help and maybe give me an idea what i did.
There's a canceling lever which is supposed to click once to turn off the turn signal after you complete the turn. It sounds like that part has gotten out of place. You may need to remove the wheel to see it.
there is a little plate under the steering wheel i did remove it at the same time to see if the that is where i needed to replace the hazards and turning signals switch but I didnt take anything out. I dont understand what could have caused this. but I will look and see thank you
