Help on figuring out with pics

In this pic they have it pluged but on my block there is some sort of 2 wire part were some one has cut the wire.Can you tell me what part goes in there?I just put my motor together and am trying to get it running right.Please help and I cannot find it in book.Any ideas will help get me started.

I'll post pics of my motors when i get home.

I have a d15b7 and a b2, the b2 has the 2 pin connector, and the b7 has a plug in the block, I'm trying to find the answer to this question as well.

He says it's the fan switch.

I looked in the book and i couldnt find a fan switch.I think it is a Coolant temp switch or a coolant temp sender The colant temp switch should be 1grn and 2black wire the ,sender is one wire yel-red.I still am looking.
