help on front noise

Default help on front noise

my 1996 civic lx is makin a high pitch noise from the front. i was told previously that it could be either wheel bearings or cv axle. please help me to determine how to know whether or not it is either one. thanks

Be as descriptive as possible. WHen does it happen? When doesn't it happen? Does the noise change (get louder, etc) when you do certain things. The more informative you are, the easier it'll be for us to determine the issue.

noise usually happens at highways speeds from 100km plus. its starting to occur at80km also. but very faint. the faster u drive the faster the noise will sound. doesnt really get louder. but as u slow down the noise will slow down also.
