Default Help with a possible tranny swap.

Well, no one has been able to help me so far. So i am looking to the civic community. Can anyone give me some advice about swapping out a transmission. I have a seventh gen HX unfortunately it has a CVT in it, it has been replaced once because of a recall on the original model. The new one seems to act like a 'normal' automatic. But i noticed it downshifts hard. Hard enough to the point to give you a slight jerk forward.

Any info on what anyone thinks? I've given up on the CVT completely and am looking to do some body work to drop in a 5 speed. Something that i can modify at my leisure. Not maintnance every week. :/

Any advice or even response would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Thanks.

Find a 7th gen HX manual. Take the trans, clutch lines, clutch assembly, flywheel, clutch master cylinder, pedal assembly, ECU, cluster, shift linkage, and shifter assembly and it should bolt right up. Make sure you have some mechanical knowledge before attempting it yourself though.
