Hello

Can anyone tell me a trick to removing the rear window wiper? I recently bought a 2000 Civic Hatchback and for some reason the wiper is straight up and down in the rest position and then goes all the way down onto the paint when turned on.

I have removed the 10mm nut from the stud but the wiper arm won't come off. I have tried penetrating oil and prying it off but no luck.

Anyone know any tricks?
