Default help - slight clunking noice

I just purchase my 96 civic coupe and was told that my car had coil overs installed. I have not looked to confirm this but I have noticed that there is a faint clunking noise when I hid a bump and sometimes when I shift. is this because the coil overs or should i be looking for another problem. my noise is not that loud. The car drives straight with no wobbles or shacking even at high speeds ( took it up to 100 mph to see what it could do - very fun). Any ideas or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.
