Default Help with two codes

I pulled my codes and I received a 7-TPS and a 9-CYP Sensor. Are these things that I would have to replace or can they be repaired? I don't even know what a CYP is. Thanks for your time.

CYP sensor is the cylinder position sensor. It's inside the distributor. To replace it you have to replace the distributor itself. I'm not sure if you need to replace it or not, so don't jump to conclusions based on my response. Hopefully RonJ will see this thread and help you troubleshoot it.

TPS might just need to be adjusted. Not sure.

What year/engine? Are these codes associated with some recent work you have done? More information would help.

Oh yeah, my bad. The car is a 95 Civic EX but it has an H22A swap. It's had those codes since I bought it. Thanks.

Is it possible that you simply don't have the sensors wired correctly to the ECU? What ECU?

The ECU is a P28. I don't know anything about Hondas so I don't know if the sensors are wired correctly.

The 2-wire CYL sensor (code 9) inside the distributor pins to B11 and B12 of the ECU. Also check the resistance (350-700 Ohms) of the sensor.

The 3-wire TPS sensor (code 7) attached to the throttle body pins to D11 and D20 of the ECU. It gets 5 reference volts from the ECU and outputs variable voltage depending on the throttle angle (~0.5V closed throttle and ~4.5V wide open throttle).
