Help with vtec wiring
I have a 95 DX that I swapped a D16Z6 into... I have the ecm from the Vtec car as well... My body harness did not have the wires ran for me to be able to activate vtec... I know I have to run 2 wires... 1 for the oil pressure switch and one for the vtec solenoid... My question is What wires do I tap into on the engine harness and where to I attach them to on the ecm... Also any good places to route the wires would be appreciated... and What type of connectors do I need to attach the wires to the ecm?

you will need 2 ecu pins to add to your ecu harness, and some wire and tape.
here is pics of when i did it.
my 2 wires i added to the ecu,

the black wire coming off the vtec oil pressure sensor gets grounded

only need pin a4 and pin d6 for sohc vtec hook up

Thank you.... Just to be clear tho... I ground the black wire coming off the oil pressure switch (the green plug right?)... and then I take the other wire off the green plug and tap it into d6... with an ecm pin (where do I get ecm pins) Then the wire in the grey plug gets tapped and goes with an ecm pin to a4.... Is that all correct?
you can goto a junk yard and yank them out of other civics or send me 2$ via paypal and ill mail you some,
the grey single wire plug goes (vtec solnoid) goes to a4 and the oil pressure wire goes to d6 and the black wire gets grounded.
